Rivand (Persian: ريوند)[a] is a village in Bashtin Rural District of Bashtin District, Davarzan County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the district[4] and rural district.[5]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 997 in 322 households, when it was in the former Davarzan District of Sabzevar County).[6] The following census in 2011 counted 884 people in 304 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,034 people in 384 households,[2] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Davarzan County.[4]
